Biography
Before moving into the private sector, I spent seven years working in the General Assembly and the Pennsylvania Treasury Department. As Deputy State Treasurer, I was responsible for the administration of the department, including the preparation, introduction, and passage of key legislation. I also served as liaison between the Treasury Department and House and Senate leadership, as well as members of the General Assembly.
Before that, I was a budget analyst for the Majority House Appropriations Committee, with primary responsibility for analyzing and making recommendations concerning the appropriations of the Departments of Commerce, Corrections, Probation and Parole, Attorney General, and Auditor General. I also had oversight responsibility for the Commonwealth’s economic development programs and was the rural policy coordinator for the House Majority. I served as senior staff to both House and Senate leadership and has had responsibility for monitoring all aspects of the legislative and budget process.
I am a past president of the Tuesday Club, a private central Pennsylvania business luncheon club, and served as chair of the Derry Township Zoning Board.
I have a bachelor of arts in politics from Fairfield University, and received a master’s in political science from Penn State.
